My name is Carmen Savelli and use the stage name Carmen Giana. I am in south Georgia but willing to travel, which I love to do! When I go on stage, I am known for my big strong voice and big hair.....that's how people usually find me afterwards... I love to perform. The stage brings out the performing side of me...the more people who will watch, the better. My mother has me recorded singing even at the age of one...I love it, it's my life's passion.
I've been extremely lucky in my last four years of performing. I've been on stages from one coast to the other. I mostly sing solo, but am involved as the lead singer in a rock band, also. I am involved in a singing group through the University of Georgia, although I'm just in high school. I've been a part of this organiziation for the last three years. I've had the opportunity to sing the national athem for the University of Georgia, Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Braves, two times! I love to compete and when I was 12, I was 1st runner up for the IPOP competition in Los Angeles. I've won Kiwanis talent shows and 4-H competitions for several years in a row. Most recently, I traveled to Las Vegas to perform in an international competition and won my age division in solo, pop performance. As far as acting, I've been fortunate to perform with a traveling production out of Atlanta for two years. I was a soloist for two consecutive years, while we traveled from state to state. I recently auditioned and got the part of Ariel in the Little Mermaid for the 2008 summer. I've cohosted our local television show, I've sang live twice on major television shows and have been the feature performer to advertise on television for a fair. I've performed at our State Fair and lots of community fairs. I've been asked to sing for our Govenor, Sonny Purdue and have sang for lots of conventions.
If you've made it this far, thanks for reading this lengthy info and letting me brag....smiling.
